Flash

I was first uncomfortable learning Adobe Flash because
I had no experience working on it and it seemed to be very complicated.

After Dr. Yen's lecture on the program, I just tried it to see how it goes.
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

These are the steps I follow for creating a flash animation:

1. open the flash -> create New: Action Script 2.0
2. Change FPS to 12.00 frames per second
3. choose the rectangle tool on the menu on the left hand side and create a shape on the stage and then click on the select tool on the menu on the left hand side.
4. Go to "Modify" menu and "covert to symbol" and select "Movie Clip"
5. select on 30th clips and go to "Insert"
6. change the location for the new location and may change the size
7. select the frame in between
8. control button and click "Classic Tween"

For text

1. choose "T" and font style
2. Write and color the word
3. Modify menu-> Break Apart-> Modify menu, timeline, distribute to layer
4. Select the final frame-> insert, timeline, keyframe
5. do the same thing for the rest.
6. Control and mouse "Classic Tween" between the frames

Work on the individual letter

6. select the frames, insert, timeline, keyframe, and move the letter and design it the way I want
7. Control and mouse "Classic Tween" between the frames

Import a piece of image and a clip of music to the flash
File, import, import to library, choose the image and music

Create a new layer and drag & drop the image on the background
-go to modify menu and "Convert to Symbol" and Type"Movie Clip"

-Create a new layer for music.
1. First frame, Insert menu--> timeline--> Key frame, and click on sound (Property menu)
2. on Property, go to sync, chose "Start"
3. Publish: go to file, publish setting, Check Flash (.swf) & HTML (.html), choose the location to save the files, and publish the files.(Hit the publish button in the desk top)
